How much will all of this cost?
If you have insurance we can often bill through that. Just call our office and we can give you an idea of what insurance benefits you have.
If you’re paying cash, we have a cash price if you pay at the time of service: $125 for the first visit including the exam, any necessary X-rays and the first adjustment. Subsequent adjustments are $50 each visit.
How long will I have to be seen – Do I have to go the rest of my life?
I emphasize short term care. How long you are treated is completely up to you. On your first visit, we will sit down and discuss what you wish to accomplish in terms of pain relief or activities you would like to perform but cannot. I will then come up with a plan to get you where you want to be as quickly as possible.
I was in a car accident. Should I see a chiropractor?
Most definitely; research has shown that people injured in auto accidents improve more quickly with chiropractic care and have less long-term chronic pain compared to those who are not treated by a chiropractor. Although chiropractic can be very effective for treating chronic pain, if treatment begins as soon as possible after the injury, the long-term outcome will tend to be better.
Can a person who had back surgery see a chiropractor?
Yes; it is an unfortunate fact that up to half of those who had spinal surgery discover a return of their original symptoms months or years later. They then face the prospect of additional surgery. This all too common occurrence is known as “Failed Back Surgery Syndrome.” Chiropractic may help prevent repeated back surgeries. In fact, if chiropractic care is initially utilized, back surgery can often be avoided in the first place.
