Chiropractor Serving Kentfield Patients

Dr. Charles Zollner has been providing chiropractic care to patients across the North Bay since 1998, and many of them make the short trip over from Kentfield. Our office at 4380 Redwood Highway, Suite B-6 in San Rafael is an easy drive up Highway 101, so getting here from Kent Woodlands or central Kentfield is simple and stress-free.

Dr. Zollner uses a gentle, instrument-based approach that removes the need for manual cracking. Rather than applying forceful adjustments, he combines several chiropractic techniques with modern diagnostics, including digital X-ray, to find the true source of your pain and build a care plan around your specific situation.

Kentfield blends a quiet, wooded residential feel with an active, outdoor lifestyle, from walking and biking the Corte Madera Creek path to hiking the trails around Kent Woodlands and Baltimore Canyon. Staying active is part of life here, and keeping you moving comfortably is exactly what we help you do. For our Spanish-speaking neighbors in Kentfield, el Dr. Zollner habla Español.

Conditions We Treat for Kentfield Patients

Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, a recent injury, or stiffness from working at a desk, Dr. Zollner can help. Here are the most common conditions our Kentfield patients come in for:

Auto Accident Care for Kentfield Residents

Sir Francis Drake Boulevard is Kentfield's main artery, carrying steady commuter and College of Marin traffic between the hills and Highway 101 all day long. The corridor's busy intersections and the on-ramps where it meets 101 near Larkspur are frequent spots for rear-end collisions and fender benders, especially during commute hours. If you've been in a car accident, chiropractic care can help with whiplash, neck pain, back pain, and other soft tissue injuries that often don't show up until days after the collision.

What You Should Know After an Accident

Dr. Zollner works with personal injury cases and can document your injuries for insurance purposes. Most auto insurance policies cover chiropractic care after an accident. The sooner you're evaluated, the better your chances of a full recovery and a properly documented claim.

Kentfield Resources for Active Living

Kentfield is a community built around an active, outdoor lifestyle. Whether you're hiking the ridgeline, swimming laps at the community pool, or cheering on the Trojans, staying active sometimes means dealing with pain. Here are local resources our patients frequently mention:

  • Corte Madera Creek Path

The paved Corte Madera Creek path runs alongside Kentfield, following the water toward Ross and Larkspur. It's a favorite of walkers, runners, cyclists, and families with strollers, and the flat, scenic route is easy to enjoy year-round. Even gentle, repetitive walking and cycling can contribute to hip, knee, and lower back overuse, especially for those ramping up mileage.

  • Kent Woodlands & Baltimore Canyon

Above Kentfield, the trails through Kent Woodlands and the Baltimore Canyon Open Space Preserve offer shaded, wooded paths and a scenic creek popular with hikers, trail runners, and dog walkers. The steep grades and uneven footing are rewarding but can be hard on knees, ankles, and lower backs. Locals use these trails throughout the year.

  • College of Marin

College of Marin sits at the heart of Kentfield, drawing students, staff, and visitors to its campus, athletic fields, and community events on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Long days walking campus, carrying backpacks, and sitting through classes all add up, and that mix of standing, carrying, and sitting is a common source of the neck, shoulder, and lower back complaints we treat in the office.

  • Bon Air Center (Greenbrae)

Just down Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, Bon Air Center is the nearest full shopping hub for Kentfield residents, with a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, and everyday errands in one spot. Shoppers spend time on their feet carrying bags and loading cars, and staff work long shifts standing and lifting. All of that walking, standing, and carrying is a common source of the neck, shoulder, and lower back strain we help patients manage.

  • Sir Francis Drake Boulevard Corridor

Sir Francis Drake Boulevard carries most of Kentfield's traffic between the hills, College of Marin, and Highway 101. Commuters, students, and drivers heading to Larkspur and San Rafael keep it busy, and rear-end collisions and fender benders are common where the road meets the freeway ramps. If you've been in an accident along this corridor, our office is a short drive north on the same highway.

  • Highway 101 & Sir Francis Drake Interchange

The Sir Francis Drake Boulevard interchange at Highway 101, along with the nearby Lucky Drive and Wornum Drive ramps, sees heavy traffic throughout the day. Commuters merging on and off the freeway and drivers heading toward Larkspur and Kentfield create congestion, and rear-end collisions, lane-change accidents, and fender benders are common in this corridor. If you've been in an accident near this interchange, our office is just a few miles north on the same highway.
