Dr. Zollner works with personal injury cases and can document your injuries for insurance purposes. Most auto insurance policies cover chiropractic care after an accident. The sooner you're evaluated, the better your chances of a full recovery and a properly documented claim.
Chiropractor Serving Corte Madera Patients
Dr. Charles Zollner has been providing chiropractic care to patients across the North Bay since 1998, and many of his patients make the short trip up from Corte Madera. Our office at 4380 Redwood Highway, Suite B-6 in San Rafael is just a few miles north, so getting here is quick and getting back to your day is easy.
Dr. Zollner uses a gentle, instrument-based approach that removes the need for manual cracking. Rather than applying forceful adjustments, he combines several chiropractic techniques with modern diagnostics, including digital X-ray, to find the true source of your pain and build a care plan around your specific situation.
Corte Madera blends easy shopping and small-town charm with a genuine love of the outdoors, from hiking Ring Mountain to strolling the Corte Madera Marsh, and keeping up with that lifestyle is exactly what we help you do. Conditions We Treat for Corte Madera Patients
Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, a recent injury, or stiffness from working at a desk, Dr. Zollner can help. Here are the most common conditions our Corte Madera patients come in for:
Auto Accident Care for Corte Madera Residents
Highway 101 runs right through the middle of Corte Madera, and the Tamalpais Drive and Paradise Drive/Wornum Drive interchanges see heavy traffic all day long. The stretch known as the "Corte Madera curve" and the busy on-ramps near The Village and Town Center shopping areas are frequent spots for rear-end collisions and fender benders, especially during commute hours and weekend shopping traffic. If you've been in a car accident, chiropractic care can help with whiplash, neck pain, back pain, and other soft tissue injuries that often don't show up until days after the collision.
What You Should Know After an Accident
Corte Madera Resources for Active Living
Corte Madera is a community built around an active, outdoor lifestyle. Whether you're hiking the ridgeline, swimming laps at the community pool, or cheering on the Trojans, staying active sometimes means dealing with pain. Here are local resources our patients frequently mention:
Ring Mountain Open Space Preserve
Rising above the east side of Corte Madera, Ring Mountain is one of Marin's most distinctive open space preserves, known for its rare serpentine grasslands, spring wildflowers, ancient petroglyphs, and sweeping views of San Francisco Bay and Mount Tamalpais. Trailheads off Paradise Drive lead hikers up steep, rocky paths to the summit at Turtle Rock. The demanding climb and uneven footing are rewarding but can be hard on knees, ankles, and lower backs. Hikers, trail runners, and dog walkers use these trails year-round.
Menke Park & Downtown Corte Madera
Menke Park sits at the heart of downtown Corte Madera along Corte Madera Avenue, a shaded green space anchored by a historic redwood tree and used for the town's farmers market, concerts, and community gatherings. The surrounding walkable downtown mixes local shops and restaurants with easy foot traffic. Weekend events and strolling shoppers keep the area busy, and the walking, standing, and carrying that come with it are common sources of the neck, shoulder, and lower back complaints we treat in the office.
Corte Madera Recreation & Town Park
The Corte Madera Recreation Department runs youth and adult programs out of Town Park and the Community Center on Tamalpais Drive, including ball fields, tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, and picnic areas. Youth baseball, soccer, and adult league play fill the calendar, along with fitness and recreation classes for all ages. Between weekend tournaments and year-round league play, the fields and courts here generate a steady stream of shoulder, knee, and lower back injuries we see in the office.
Corte Madera Ecological Reserve & Shorebird Marsh
Along the bay side of town, the Corte Madera Ecological Reserve and adjacent Shorebird Marsh offer a flat, scenic walking and jogging path through protected tidal wetlands teeming with herons, egrets, and migratory birds. The level trail near Paradise Drive and the Corte Madera Creek is popular with walkers, runners, and families with strollers. While gentle, repetitive walking and running on the path can still contribute to hip, knee, and lower back overuse, especially for those ramping up mileage.
The Village & Town Center Shopping
Corte Madera is a regional shopping destination thanks to The Village at Corte Madera and Town Center Corte Madera, two large open-air centers just off Highway 101. Shoppers spend hours on their feet, carrying bags and loading cars, and retail and restaurant staff spend long shifts standing and lifting. All of that walking, standing, and carrying is a common source of the neck, shoulder, and lower back strain we help patients manage.
Highway 101 & Tamalpais Drive Interchange
The Tamalpais Drive interchange at Highway 101, along with the nearby Paradise Drive/Wornum Drive ramps and the well-known Corte Madera curve, sees heavy traffic throughout the day. Commuters merging on and off the freeway and shoppers heading to The Village and Town Center create congestion, and rear-end collisions, lane-change accidents, and fender benders are common in this corridor. If you've been in an accident near this interchange, our office is just a few miles north on the same highway.
