From central Terra Linda (Del Ganado / Freitas area): Head east on Manuel T. Freitas Parkway toward Highway 101 (you'll pass Walgreens on your right). Just before the freeway, turn left to stay on Freitas Parkway, then make a quick left onto Redwood Frontage Road, the service road running alongside the highway. Follow it a short distance, then turn right into our lot and make an immediate left. Suite B-6 is on the left, just past The Vineyard. Look for the LJ's Café sandwich board. The whole drive is about five minutes.
From Las Gallinas Avenue: Take Las Gallinas Avenue to Manuel T. Freitas Parkway and turn onto Freitas, heading toward Highway 101 (Walgreens will be on your right). Suite B-6 is on the left, next to The Vineyard. Total drive is about four to five minutes.
From Highway 101: If you're heading north on 101 (coming from central or south San Rafael), take Exit 455 for Manuel T. Freitas Parkway. What You Should Know After an Accident
Terra Linda Resources for Active Living
Terra Linda is a community built around an active, outdoor lifestyle. Whether you're hiking the ridgeline, swimming laps at the community pool, or cheering on the Trojans, staying active sometimes means dealing with pain. Here are local resources our patients frequently mention:
Kaiser Permanente San Rafael
Kaiser's San Rafael Medical Center is just down Redwood Highway from our office. Many of our patients combine their Kaiser primary care with chiropractic treatment for a more complete approach to pain management. We coordinate with your primary care provider when needed.
Terra Linda Community Park & Pool
Located at 670 Del Ganado Road, the park includes a playground, basketball courts, walking paths, and the popular community swimming pool. A hub for family recreation in Terra Linda. Youth sports leagues including the Terra Linda Orcas swim team and Gallinas Valley Little League practice nearby.
Terra Linda High School Athletics
Home of the Trojans, Terra Linda High at 320 Nova Albion Way fields teams in football, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, softball, basketball, and more. Student athletes and their parents are some of our most frequent patients, whether dealing with sports injuries or maintaining peak performance through regular chiropractic care.
Terra Linda / Sleepy Hollow Open Space Preserve
Over 1,100 acres of trails for hiking, biking, & horseback riding. The ridge trail offers panoramic views of Mount Tamalpais and Big Rock Ridge. Popular with runners and dog walkers, but the uneven terrain can aggravate knee and ankle issues. Multiple trailheads accessible from Freitas Parkway and Del Ganado Road.
Freitas Park & Los Ranchitos Park
The smaller neighborhood parks along Freitas Parkway and in the Los Ranchitos area are well-loved by locals for walking, jogging, and casual recreation. Conveniently, both parks are just a short drive from our office, making them easily accessible for a quick outdoor getaway.
Highway 101 Corridor
The 101 corridor runs through the eastern edge of Terra Linda, connecting residents to San Francisco, Novato, and points north and south. This stretch is one of the most common sources of auto accident cases we treat, particularly during commute hours at the Freitas Parkway and Lucas Valley interchanges.
